Letter from the President

Dear delegates,

It is with great honor that we welcome you to the Berlin Shadow Committee simulation in this edition of AISMUN. This is a unique committee within the international order, tasked not only with overseeing the Berlin Olympic Games, but also with comparing actions made by the Third Reich to clear its image to the world and politicize the games. Through this model, you will analyze how the Olympics have historically transcended the field of sports to become a stage for political propaganda, diplomacy, and social struggles.

As your Dias, we invite you to take this challenge seriously, understanding that your voices as delegates represent the ideals of nations and athletes worldwide. We expect you to combine historical analysis and creative solutions to address the complexity of this committee.

We wish you the best of luck in your preparation and during the debates.

Sincerely,

Oscar Tilano Cañas
