Letter From The President

Dear delegates,

I am pleased to give you a warm welcome to the XXII edition of AISMUN and to the Futuristic Committee. On behalf of your president, Marianella Orozco, I would like to thank you for being part of this conference that I love deeply and to tell you that I feel honored to be able to preside over and guide you throughout your entire AISMUN process. For me, this is a dream come true, and I hope that for you it will be a pleasant experience full of learning, challenges, and the development of fundamental life skills such as public speaking, teamwork, and critical thinking.

The Futuristic Committee is a space to challenge yourself, but above all, bring out all your creativity and potential. It seeks to address a topic that is currently advancing at an immeasurable speed and that in the future will bring serious consequences both for the health of the world and for humanity. I invite you to see this committee not as a way to predict what will happen in a few years, but rather to understand current environmental, migration, political, and rights-related problems, so that based on the events presented in the guide from 2027 to 2044, you become positive agents of change capable of building solutions to prevent the world and international mechanisms from collapsing in 2050.

Throughout this guide, you will find all the information regarding the committee, the proposed topic, and the events to be addressed, so we invite you to read it carefully, as it will be of great help for your research and the days of debate. Finally, I fully trust in your capacity and commitment to make this a space of analysis, respect, imagination, and action. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me, as you have all my support and willingness to guide and help you throughout this entire process. I am very excited to share this experience with you, and I am firmly convinced that this committee will be a success. I hope you take with you a beautiful memory of AISMUN, learnings, and friendships for a lifetime.
